A warm welcome
ls for preparation and cooking were missing, but had we asked I’m sure we would have been supplied whatever we asked for. Modern shopping centre just around the corner and centre was a 5 minute drive away. We were given plenty of travel information and tours were booked for us. Breakfast was really good, with choice of hot & cold. The alarm system is quite elaborate and a bit confusing at first! Parking inside gated and secured area. Would highly recommend staying here and also Charley’s desert half day tour.
Good accommodation in Swakopmund
Nice guesthouse with big rooms and a small green garden in a quiet area on the outskirts of the town. Tracks4Africa GPS had some problems in finding the location, but the owner assisted us by phone and finally we reached it. Excellent service, cleanliness and good breakfast”
Friendly Welcome at Fischreiher!
We were warmly welcomed by Ms Consy at the Guest house. She took her time to explain the “house-rules” to us, and showed us to the rooms, and around the guest house. Our room was more spacious than expected, and better than some Hotels I have stayed in. We had our own en-suite bathroom.
Also had a small safe for valuables, a bar fridge, as well as a kettle with Coffee and tea in the room. We had a lovely breakfast every morning, with options of Fruit, Yogurt, Muesli, Cereals, Flapjacks, Toast, and they made us Bacon, and Eggs of choice as well.
The rooms were cleaned every day, and we were provided with fresh towels every morning.
There is Parking available inside the guest houe.(for approx 6 cars if I remember correctly), otherwise, ample street parking.”
Excellent accommodation and service
Though about 5 km from the citycenter of Swakopmund this guesthouse is a treat for an excellent stay. The rooms are spacious, ours with balcony, adequate, nothing fancy, but good. Nice staff, one day laundry service and a great breakfas with eggs to your own choice. The place is well secured, also for your car, with alarmsystems. The owner is very helpful to book excursions and give information on Swakopmund attractions and eateries. It is a 5 minutes drive to town, but you can alsowalk along the beach or along a paved footpath along the shore. Then it takes about an hour to get into town. Highly recommended!!
Lovely place with lovely service
Nice place where we could stay with two families. Very helpfull in advising and arranging restaurants and tours. Possible to do laundry. Shopping mall around the corner. Small garden to read, nearby sea. Spacious rooms, fresh and clean. Perfect breakfast with pancakes. Best and sweetest service of host.
